       These workbooks consist of a review of the seventh grade curriculum with emphasis on the ASK7 assessment content. The pre- and post-tests enable the teacher to measure each student's progress toward test readiness.

       NJ ASK7 Success in Language Arts Literacy contains reading comprehension exercises, both narrative and informational. The writing lessons include persuasive and speculative writing prompts, exercises in revising and editing text and a review of basic grammar, spelling, sentence structure, and mechanics of standard written English.

       The Teacher's Guide includes the answer key, explanations, and instructions on how to score students' open-ended responses and essays using the NJ Holistic Scoring Rubric.
